MEET THE FOUNDER

Dominique K. Martin-Smith is a loving, outgoing educator who prides herself on her success as an instructor, mentor, and speaker. She believes in expanding your mind, selfcare, and exploring the world!

Working with children and helping others has always been Dominique’s goal. During her grammar school years, she planned and directed “A Day to Make a Difference,” which provided food, care packages, and health care opportunities for over 100 homeless people from over 5 various Chicago land shelters. She continued her mission in college by serving as a youth dance instructor, Girl Scout leader, Sunday School teacher, Joshua Generation Mentor Program CEO, and working with Thornton Township Youth Committee.

Dominique received her Bachelors of Arts degree in Education from Saint Xavier University in May 2013. She graduated Magna Cum Laude. In Aug of 2013, she began her career as an educator for Chicago Public Schools. She has been serving with CPS for 11 years.

That little girl that once struggled with low self-esteem, turned into Princess Domo with the confidence of a QUEEN! It was then that she decided to combine her love of children, teaching, dance, the arts, and community service, into her girls’ mentor program, Call Me Queen! It has become Dominique’s life mission to help nurture young ladies, help them overcome obstacles, and reach their full potential.

In 2019, Dominique became an author, writing her first book, "Crowned 20 Something."

In 2020, Dominique teamed up with her sister Felicia forming Sister, Sister Royal Creations, a party decor and rental company. In 2023, they reached a big goal and opened their 1st Event Venue, Royal Creations Event Venue. This will serve as a hub meeting space for Call Me Queen and is also available to rent for private events.
